Persistent hardware faults need physical repair prior to code clearance.
A small number of SRS/ABS fault codes can only be cleared after completing active (bi-directional) tests, which require a tool with bi-directional control such as the VAWS V2.0 or higher.
Check Vehicle Compatibility: Ensure your vehicle belongs to the V.A.G group (1996–2025).
Turn Off Power-Saving: Disable any eco/battery-saving modes on the vehicle that might shut down modules during diagnosis.
