Not at all. AutoVIN depends on individual vehicle ECU protocols. If AutoVIN skips your car, simply use the Manual Selection mode—all diagnostic and service functions will work perfectly. Meanwhile, please send your VIN to our support team; we will verify it and add it to our database in the next software update.
Keep the ignition ON and the engine OFF. Record freeze-frame data before clearing codes. Persistent hardware faults must be physically repaired before codes will clear. Some SRS / ABS codes only clear after the relevant bi-directional test is completed.
Please check the following steps to troubleshoot: Check Vehicle Compatibility: Ensure your vehicle is covered by the FR V3.0, please kindly refer to the vehicle coverage of FR V3.0. Turn Off Power-Saving: Disable any eco/battery-saving modes on the vehicle that might shut down modules during diagnosis. Update Device: Update both the firmware and vehicle software to the latest versions. Check Ignition: Ensure the vehicle key is turned to the “ON” position.
